Murre Dieoff

Common Murre (Uria aalge), Family Alcidae
St. Lawrence Island, Alaska USA

Explanation:  Massive numbers of Common Murres have been found washed up on Alaskan beaches, starting from years back.

This is the largest die-off in recorded modern era.

The culprit?  Warming ocean water, leading to low prey availability and starvation.
