Explanation: Continuing from last week, here we see the fuller habitat and some of the wildlife community of Lake Nakuru in east Africa, where this party of penguins is enjoying a shoretime rest after a community aquatic-feeding event. Beyond the pelican herd, the tall white birds wading and feeding are Greater Flamingos, while the big patch of rose-colored birds far beyond are Lesser Flamingos. Scattered elsewhere are various shorebirds and other denizens of the aquatic environment. These east African Rift Valley lakes are wildlife treasures, also shared by primates, ungulates, and so much more.
